Spam Comments and WordPress
If you have a WordPress blog, you may already have encountered comment spam. Comment Spam can be a huge headache if you run several blogs. But there are ways to deal with this problem. WordPress comes with some built-in mechanisms to prevent spam and then there is no external plugins that can completely prevent your blog from getting spam comments. Comment Spam is very similar to email spam in the motif. While e-mail spam trying to get publicity and exposure, try to comment spam to create backlinks. As you may know, most of the major search engines stress backlinks while ranking websites. And this is what the spammer after. To tackle the problem of comment spam, adds WordPress may not comply with the tag added links via the Comment box. This means that search engines will not value links. However, this has not completely eradicated the problem. Spammers are still spamming blogs, can be, with the intention to have direct visitors. IOError. us / In addition to using these plugins, I would recommend also using a captcha with the comment box. This will ensure that only people can post comments. But there is no cure that can read the signs in the catch. If you use any of the plugins that I mentioned above, a captcha is not required. It’s a plugin called recaptcha to do a good job.
