Hi Jennifer. I enjoyed and I learned a lot from your lessons. For me it’s easy to understand because you are explaining and showing examples pricesly. I’d really love to watch your video everyday because I really want to improve my English grammar and vocabulary. Also I really want to be a good writer and speaker. Hope you keep posting your lessons. You have such a nice brilliant mind. Thank you very much.

the fish are in or on the water?
    in right?

    Great teaching!!

Just one thing in case you were a little confused about fish being on the water, I believe they are “in” the water.

Oh, also in the last question, “up” is an adverb, but the underlined words “to” and “from” are propositions… I believe. : )

    thank you very much

And a similar question about DOWNs. For example,
” You have to walk two blocks DOWN the street” or “Pretty woman walking DOWN the street” :)
Why DOWN, not UP or ON?
    Thanks!

Dear Jennifer, thank you for your great lessons!
I have a question about the last example. Would it be correct to say ” … coming _ to Boston” ? “.. coming _ from Atlanta” ? I mean without “UP”? What this “UP” for?
    Thanks!

  • tbcraft says:

The video is good, but you are right, she does make a mistake regarding the example of the fish. The correct answer should have been :the fish are IN the water.” Other than that, this is a good instructional video.

  • geohansky says:

jen, how are the fishes on the water , not in the water?
